"We were shooting in the Mojave Desert as well as Hollywood." says Ben.
Shot behind the scenes of the major motion picture, Ben takes candid shots of the production. In addition to his documentary responsibility, he was also included as a production assistant, an extra and a creative consultant.
"They used a couple of my ideas, which felt good." He adds, "You'll see them in the movie - the movie is actually really funny"
Sometimes, a young person Ben's age is often not taken very seriously. This was not a problem with Ben. His experience served him well as his knowledge around the set impressed the veterans.
"They treated me like a normal guy, I could go anywhere I wanted and shoot whatever I wanted"
"They worked with me."
Ben's footage will be shown at the wrap party for the film and his documentary will be included as the end of the DVD, when it's released.
Ben Foster chosen to document behind the scenes on a major motion picture, "Adventrues of Umbweki"
A slap stick comedy about a young African tribesman named Umbweki, who leaves his tribe to pursue his life long dream of becoming a Hollywood star. An eight year adventure that includes many Hollywood spoofs, stereotypes and hilarious encounters along the way.
